Job summary

XPT Software Australia is seeking a Software Developer to join the Finance and Procurement Compliance AI Platform team in Australia. You will build, operate, and scale a production AI solution that automates purchasing compliance checks across the procure-to-pay lifecycle, processing contracts, invoices, and timesheets using Azure AI and Document Intelligence.

You will develop cloud-native services with Python and Azure, including Azure Functions, Durable Functions, Cosmos DB, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

5+ years of Python development experience.
Experience with Azure Functions and Durable Functions.
Proficient in SQL and Snowflake for data integration.
Strong data pipelines and cloud-native design.
Hands-on with Azure Cloud, CI/CD automation, and testing practices.
Observability and monitoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cloud-native services using Python and Azure technologies.
Design and optimize data integrations and large-scale document-processing pipelines.
Implement monitoring/observability solutions and CI/CD-driven deployments.
Build evaluation infrastructure to measure model performance.
Contribute to a production AI platform in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
