Job summary

Nuage Technology Group is seeking a data scientist-turned-AI engineer to ship production models that impact tens of millions of users. You will build churn, recommendation and next best action systems, then bring LLM and agentic approaches into live applications, not just proofs of concept.

The role covers design, deployment of AI apps, RAG pipelines, API services and LLM integrations, with a focus on production quality and scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• 8 years in data science and AI with production models shipped.
• Hands-on churn, recommendation and next best action experience.
• LLM and agentic experience including production RAG architecture.
• Advanced Python (FastAPI) and SQL.
• GCP/AWS/Azure with Docker, Git, CI/CD and automated testing.

My client are looking for a data scientist who has moved into AI Engineering, who has actually shipped models that move numbers. Not dashboards. Not proofs of concept.

You’ll build churn, recommendation and next best action models that shape how millions of people engage and subscribe, then bring LLM and agentic approaches into that work.

The role

• Design, build and deploy production AI apps, RAG pipelines, API services and LLM integrations
• Deliver churn, recommendation backed by solid quantitative and statistical analysis
• Keep production healthy with strong CI/CD and no single points of failure

You’ll bring

• Around 8 years in data science and AI, with production models and applications shipped
• Hands-on churn, recommendation and next best action experience
• LLM and agentic experience, including production RAG architecture
• Advanced Python (FastAPI, LangChain/LlamaIndex) and SQL
• GCP, AWS or Azure, plus Docker, Git, CI/CD and automated testing

This is contract based role for Sydney based candidates that hold full working rights.
