Job summary

ADAPTOVATE is seeking an Associate Consultant to work directly with clients on complex business challenges, transformation, and AI-enabled opportunities. You will apply structured problem-solving to identify practical solutions and drive measurable impact across engagements.

The role requires 2+ years of client-facing consulting, a strong foundation in transformation, and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of client-facing management consulting experience
• Around 2–5 years of total professional experience
• Strong structured problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience owning or contributing to consulting workstreams and client deliverables
• Strong client-facing capability, including stakeholder management, presentations, and working with senior stakeholders
• Experience in business transformation, operating model, process improvement, digital transformation, or strategy execution
• Interest or practical exposure to AI, automation, and emerging technologies; technical AI expertise is not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Applicants must currently have the legal right to work in Australia
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model from our Melbourne office and travel to client sites

Responsibilities

• Structure complex business problems into clear, actionable recommendations for clients
• Drive process improvement and transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and experience
• Identify and prioritize AI-enabled opportunities and use cases for better decision-making and performance
• Contribute to digital and AI-enabled transformation initiatives across the engagement
• Own or contribute to project workstreams and manage stakeholders
• Lead client working sessions to structure problems, test hypotheses, align decisions, and move transformation forward
• Manage project milestones, timelines, and deliverables in fast-paced consulting environments
• Build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams to foster collaboration and high performance
