Job summary

Pet Circle in Sydney is seeking a Pricing Analyst to shape our pricing strategy across our large pet products range. You will own the analysis behind our prices, dive into transactional and competitor data, and surface actionable recommendations for Category Managers and Marketing.

You will help move pricing from manual checks to AI-assisted workflows. You’ll work with Data and Merchandising teams, monitor price positions, measure promotional impact, and ensure accurate pricing across the site.

Qualifications

• Couple of years in an analytical role (pricing, commercial, finance, strategy, data or consulting)
• Experience turning large datasets into actionable recommendations
• Experience using AI to automate reports or workflows
• Demonstrated ownership and willingness to tackle new problems
• Ability to explain numbers clearly to stakeholders
• Attention to detail to ensure correct pricing

Responsibilities

• Track competitor pricing weekly and advise responses
• Monitor price position using pricing tools; balance competitiveness with growth
• Measure promo and price impact and feed into promotional calendar
• Replace manual checks with AI-assisted automation in workflows
• Price new products and support range analysis for new brands
• Maintain accuracy of pricing data and work with Data team to fix issues
• Respond to pricing queries from customer experience and other teams
• Represent pricing on cross-functional projects and own outcomes
• Translate business requirements into executable actions and keep SOPs current
