Job summary

CLICKS RECRUIT (AUSTRALIA) PTY LTD in Melbourne, VIC seeks a Full Stack Developer (React/Python) to build modern, scalable apps at the AI platform edge. You will craft user-friendly interfaces and robust back‑end services, collaborating with architects to deliver secure, high‑performing software.

You’ll design React components, develop Python APIs, and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS. Hybrid/flexible work is available, with a role based in Carseldine for on-site collaboration and delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building modern, scalable web apps using React
• Proven Python backend development experience (FastAPI, Flask or similar)
• Experience delivering full-stack applications end-to-end
• Hands-on AWS services and serverless (Lambda) experience
• Containerisation experience with Docker, ECS or Kubernetes
• Experience with RESTful API design and data integration
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modelling
• Exposure to AI platforms or AI-driven workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive single-page applications using React
• Develop Python-based APIs and backend services
• Create reusable components for multiple apps on a shared platform
• Integrate front-end with AI-powered services and knowledge graph capabilities
• Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions in AWS (serverless and containers)
• Implement data integration across structured and unstructured sources
• Collaborate with architects to deliver scalable solutions
• Ensure performance, security, and maintainability of applications
• Contribute to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
• Follow best practices in clean code, version control and documentation
