Job summary

DuluxGroup is seeking an AI Data Engineer to shape how AI integrates into its data ecosystem. You will join the Data & AI team to build scalable data products and pipelines powering advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI initiatives on a modern Databricks platform.

You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts and platform engineers to deliver trusted, AI-ready data assets with strong governance, data quality and security.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in modern cloud data environments.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to machine learning, advanced analytics, or generative AI use cases.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, data modelling, Lakehouse architectures, CI/CD practices, and automation concepts.
• A strong problem solver who can translate business requirements into data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, high-quality data products and pipelines powering analytics, ML, and generative AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers to deliver reliable, AI-ready data assets on our Databricks platform.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance across the data ecosystem.
