Job summary

SA Health's Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join Elmhaven Aged Care in Streaky Bay as Associate Nurse Unit Manager. You will provide clinical leadership and oversee high‑quality, person‑centred care to residents.

This permanent full‑time role operates on a 7‑day roster with opportunities to influence care plans, mentor staff and contribute to service development in a regional coastal community on South Australia’s west coast.

Qualifications

• Current NMBA registration and practising certificate.
• Minimum three years post-registration experience.
• Experience leading nursing teams and providing supervision.
• Knowledge of aged care standards and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee high-quality, person-centred clinical nursing care.
• Support management and review of individual resident care plans.
• Provide clinical guidance, supervision and support to nursing staff.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to achieve positive resident outcomes.
• Contribute to clinical decision-making, quality improvement and service development.
• Support the Nurse Unit Manager with day-to-day coordination of the service.
