Job summary

Dovida is seeking a Caregiver to provide companionship, personal care, and practical support to clients in their homes across the Tweed Heads area. You will help with daily tasks, mobility, meals, and transport, while upholding dignity and respect.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to build trusting relationships with seniors and their families. A flexible schedule and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have permanent or temporary rights to work in Australia.
• Available to work a minimum of 3 weekdays.
• Must have a laptop/tablet and mobile smartphone to navigate applications.
• Must have a valid Australian driver’s license, reliable car, and car insurance.
• Current Police Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and daily living support to seniors and people with disabilities.
• Assist with domestic tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Provide transport to appointments and social outings when needed.
• Communicate with clients and families to understand needs and preferences.
• Adapt to client routines with kindness and respect.

ABOUT YOU

Have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.

Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.

You’re located in the Tweed, Banora Point, Nerang, Parkwood, Arundel and willing to travel between clients

Must be available to work a minimum of 3 weekdays

Desirable if you have had previous experience in the support sector

Must have a laptop/tablet and mobile smart phone to be able to navigate through various applications.

You hold a valid Australian driver’s license, have a reliable car, comprehensive car insurance and a current Police Clearance
