Job summary

Dovida is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support clients across Melbourne’s outer east. You’ll provide companionship, daily task support, and personal care in clients’ homes, with flexible casual shifts and ongoing training. You’ll travel within your local community to assist with transport and daily activities.

Unrestricted working rights in Australia are required. This is a meaningful, community-focused role in a national provider of home care.

Qualifications

• Be warm, compassionate and approachable, with a natural ability to build trusted relationships.
• Hold a valid Australian driver license and have access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Be willing to provide domestic assistance, personal care and transport services to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily tasks and personal care as needed, following care plans.
• Support clients with transport to appointments and social activities.

As a national organisation with a strong local focus, we support clients across Melbourne’s outer east. We’re currently seeking compassionate Caregivers in Kilsyth, Keysborough, Cockatoo, Rowville, Berwick, Boronia, Mount Evelyn, Dandenong and Wantirna.

ABOUT YOU

• Live in one of the advertised areas and be comfortable travelling 20–30 minutes within your local community
• Hold a valid, unrestricted Australian driver licence and have access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Be willing to provide domestic assistance, personal care and transport services to clients
• Have relevant care experience or a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or a related qualification
