Opal HealthCare Narraweena Grove Care Community is seeking a General Services Officer to support hospitality, cleaning and laundry, helping residents feel comfortable and at home. You will assist in providing dining service, housekeeping and personal laundry with care and respect.

This hands-on role covers multiple duties across dining room service, cleaning and laundry, with training provided. You’ll work within a supportive, values-led team focused on delivering exceptional care in a vibrant

Qualifications

• A passion for helping people and making a difference in your community.
• A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to learn across different areas of hospitality.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or customer service is beneficial, but not essential we will train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Food Service: Deliver outstanding customer service in our dining room, serve meals with care, and know resident preferences.
• Housekeeping: Ensure resident rooms and community areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, paying attention to detail.
• Laundry: Provide a essential service by managing residents' personal laundry with respect and care.
• Work as a key part of a supportive team to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all residents.
• Follow strict safety, sanitary, and infection control protocols in all tasks.
