Job summary

Wesley Mission Queensland Limited is seeking an Aged Care Services Assistant to support the residential aged care team with hospitality across kitchen, cleaning and laundry services. You will help deliver safe food handling, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and support residents with compassion and respect.

The role requires flexibility for a 7-day roster and adherence to infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, cleaning, or housekeeping preferred.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work across a 7-day roster.
• Positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn.

As a Aged Care Services Assistant (Hospitality Services Team Member), you'll use your hospitality skills across kitchen, cleaning and laundry services while building meaningful connections with residents and contributing to their comfort, wellbeing and quality of life.

Your Role as Hospitality Services Team Member

You will support our residential aged care community by:

Providing kitchen, cleaning and laundry services

Delivering safe food handling and catering support

Maintaining a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment

Supporting residents with compassion, dignity and respect

Working collaboratively within a supportive team

Following infection control, health and safety procedures
