Job summary

Amana Living's Peter Arney Home in Salter Point, WA, seeks a Service Manager to oversee residential care facilities, lead clinical teams and ensure delivery of quality care while managing daily operations.

You will drive budgeting, staffing, audits and continuous improvement, collaborate with HR, and provide after-hours support as part of a senior operations team. This role demands extensive aged care management, dementia care knowledge and governance experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive facility management experience in an Aged Care environment.
• Experience with funding assessments and submissions.
• Knowledge of dementia care and related needs.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Strong change management with history of strategic/operational change.
• Ability to manage finances and operate within budgets; strong communication.
• Vaccinations, Police Clearance, NDIS checks and other pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical teams and ensure care meets standards.
• Monitor, report clinical KPIs and mitigate risks.
• Monitor and manage financial KPIs and budgets.
• Ensure audits comply with policy and statutory requirements.
• Contribute to budget preparation and maintain financial controls.
• Coordinate resident and relative meetings.
• Provide updates on continuous improvement plans.
• Manage staffing rosters and collaborate with HR on recruitment and retention.
• Provide after-hours on-call support to Operations/General Manager.
