Job summary

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years' RN experience in an aged care setting.
• Proven ability to assess residents and coordinate care.
• Experience guiding staff in wound and diabetes management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident health and wellbeing.
• Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans with residents and families.
• Administer medications and provide clinical treatments.
• Provide leadership and guidance to care staff.
• Coordinate with GPs and allied health professionals to manage resident care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
• Support AN-ACC assessments and maintain documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant policies.
• Participate in infection prevention and quality improvements.
