Job summary

Roshana Noble Park Aged Care in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Officer to keep our facility safe, functional and comfortable for residents, staff and visitors. You will perform general repairs, coordinate with contractors and support preventative maintenance programs.

This hands-on role suits someone with practical trade skills, strong problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety. We value reliability, teamwork and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy aged care

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, handyman or facilities roles.
• Current and valid Driver's License.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication and ability to work with a diverse team.
• National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work across the facility.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and issues.
• Maintain building systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with external contractors as required.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and report risks or hazards.
