Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking a motivated team member to assist in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, working with our Chef Manager and Hotel Services Team to deliver high-quality meals to residents. You will help with food prep, plating, meal service, and support dietary needs, including texture-modified and allergen-aware options, while upholding food safety and WHS standards.

This role is physical and diverse, involving bending, lifting and moving items, with the opportunity to grow practical

Qualifications

• Hospitality or commercial kitchen experience is preferred.
• Students completing or planning Commercial Cookery studies who want hands-on skills that support their training.
• Strong communication, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Reliable, adaptable team players who thrive in a busy kitchen with varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep, plating, and meal service in a commercial kitchen.
• Support dietary needs, including texture-modified and allergen-aware meals.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen and dining cleanliness.
• Set up and reset dining rooms and equipment for each service.
• Follow food safety and WHS procedures.
• Work as part of a supportive, fast-moving team.
