Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a Funding Business Partner to optimise AN-ACC funding across our home portfolio, auditing resident care documentation and collaborating with stakeholders to provide funding support and guidance. Travel across our homes is required.

You will influence, audit, and improve funding-related processes, ensuring documentation is timely, accurate, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Aged Care Sector and competence in Nursing Practice.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and developing care plans.
• Experience with the AN-ACC tool is highly desirable.
• Computer literacy and experience using care documentation systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisation, coordination and time management skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to build solid business relationships.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel to our homes regularly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent application of Government funding rules within the assigned portfolio of homes.
• Maintain a schedule of AN-ACC assessments and reassessments.
• Influence stakeholders by providing sound advice to ensure timely and complete care documentation for external AN-ACC assessments.
• Audit resident care documentation to ensure it is up-to-date and compliant with legislation and policies.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and AN-ACC assessment bodies.
• Review data and documentation to identify opportunities and improvements; propose strategies to stakeholders.
• Assist Residential Aged Care Managers and Clinical Directors to identify funding-related risks and implement mitigation actions.
