Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Maintenance Officer in Greater Western Sydney. You will perform general maintenance and repairs across aged care facilities, supervise contractors, and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

Minimum 2 years in a similar role, with contractor management, budget oversight, and knowledge of applicable regulations. A valid driver’s licence and pre-employment checks are required, with optional distance-based travel within NSW.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of building maintenance work and procedures.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in contractor management.
• Experience in managing site maintenance budgets, work orders and requisitions.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Knowledge & application of relevant legislation requirements, codes & standards.
• Moderate computer literacy.
• Current drivers’ licence.
• A pre-employment medical assessment will be required; National Police Check and/or NDIS Workers Check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures and fittings.
• Inspect and deliver statutory, preventative & corrective maintenance of the facility.
• Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors.
• Ensure an aesthetic, compliant and safe working environment.
• Maintenance of property facilities including cleaning, painting, lighting, TV installations, hanging paintings, disposal of rubbish, air conditioning checks, tiling, basic plumbing, furniture removal and general repairs.
• Ensure planned maintenance of Home assets is executed as per Maintenance Plan and legislative requirements.
• Use preferred suppliers and ensure works stay within budget and workflow procedures.
• Carry-out scheduled tasks within agreed timelines.
