Job summary

Arcare is seeking a friendly dining assistant to support meal service for residents on the Sunshine Coast. You will help with basic meal prep, serve meals, and keep dining areas clean while engaging warmly with residents to enhance their nutrition and comfort.

Great hourly rate with superannuation, shift penalties where applicable, and uniform/meals provided. Applicants should have a Food Handler’s Certificate or be willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and a friendly, patient demeanor
• Reliable, adaptable and eager to learn
• Positive attitude and team spirit

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and plating
• Serve meals according to dietary requirements
• Set up and maintain clean dining areas
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene
• Engage positively with residents during meals
