Estia Health is seeking a Cook to join our friendly team in Hervey Bay. You will work closely with the Chef to manage kitchen activities, tailor meals to residents’ needs, and ensure nutritious and delicious dishes are prepared per the menu and safety standards.

With a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and at least 12 months’ aged care kitchen experience, you’ll support menu planning, dietary requirements, and a positive dining experience for residents across Queensland facilities.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery required; strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen, aged care experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with diverse cuisines and dietary requirements is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Chef with kitchen management and menu planning.
• Prepare, cook and deliver meals per menu and Food Safety Plan.
• Document resident dietary needs and preferences; adjust meals accordingly.
• Support the kitchen team and manage supplies and ordering to meet budget.
• Ensure effective service delivery and maintain high food safety standards.
