Uniting NSW.ACT in Nambucca Heads is seeking a Care Worker to provide compassionate, person‑centred care to residents in our aged care facility, helping them maintain independence and maximise quality of life in a safe, nurturing environment. This permanent part‑time role operates on a rotating roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts, with availability Monday to Friday and potential weekend shifts.

Casual arrangements can be considered.

Qualifications

• Must have a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care is highly desirable, or willingness to obtain a qualification with support from the employer.
• Rotating roster across morning, afternoon, and night shifts; Monday to Friday availability; weekend shifts may be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents to enhance independence and quality of life.
• Assist with daily living activities including showering, hygiene, dressing and mobility.
• Support with medication and simple wound dressings.
• Encourage participation in community activities and social events.
