Job summary

Respect Group Limited in Regional Australia is seeking a Cleaning Services Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors in a residential aged care setting.

This casual role requires reliability, punctuality and flexibility to work weekends and rotating shifts. You will clean resident rooms, shared living areas and facilities, follow infection control procedures and manage cleaning chemicals safely.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible to work weekends and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms and shared living areas in line with infection control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, corridors and staff areas.
• Safely handle, use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures.
• Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to ensure high-quality standards.
