Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to keep dining areas, lounges and residents’ rooms clean and welcoming. You will work under the Hotel Services Team Leader to maintain hygiene standards and a safe, hazard-free environment that supports residents’ comfort and independence.

The role requires physical activity, the ability to follow procedures, strong teamwork, and a caring, respectful approach to residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry, cleaning, or similar support role.
• Be a strong team player, you are friendly, respectful, courteous and has a strong work ethic
• A warm, friendly and compassionate approach, with a genuine desire to support and engage with our residents.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to follow procedures and communicate clearly with your team.
• Proactive in supporting residents in dining areas, helping to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.
• A confident problem-solver who can work independently, take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable, hardworking, flexible and with good availability to cover a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy dining areas, hallways, lounges, library and residents' rooms.
• Follow all hygiene protocols while performing cleaning tasks with a stable trolley and equipment.
• Maintain work areas in a clean, safe, trip-free and hazard-free condition at all times.
