South Western Sydney Local Health District in Bowral, NSW is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team at Bowral Hospital. This permanent full-time position offers 38 hours per week and provides clinical support, documentation, and patient care in an aged care context.

You will work under Allied Health Professionals to deliver high-quality service, adapt to role development, and contribute to quality patient outcomes while engaging with a supportive team and flexible

Qualificações

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent, or 12 months full-time equivalent experience with plan to undertake the Certificate IV within 12 months.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines within scope of practice and supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills across levels.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical support, including handover, documentation and supervision for patients.
• Deliver high-quality care for inpatients in aged care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in patient activity programs.
• Support allied health professionals and nursing staff to meet patient-centred goals.
