Optimum Health Solutions in Dubbo, NSW is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to support clinicians across multiple disciplines in delivering therapy programs for children and adults.

Youll assist with individual and group sessions, prepare resources, maintain documentation, and help clients reach achievable goals. The role offers mentoring, career development, and flexible hours in a NSW clinic.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance
• 2 to 4 years experience as Allied Health Assistant or in a similar support role
• Experience supporting allied health clinicians in a healthcare, disability or community setting
• A strong understanding of person-centred care and evidence-based practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A current driver\'s licence and access to a vehicle
• A Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency

Responsabilités

• Assisting clinicians to deliver individual and group-based therapy programs
• Implementing treatment plans under the supervision of qualified allied health professionals
• Supporting clients to reach their therapy goals and build independence
• Preparing therapy resources and treatment environments
• Completing progress notes and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Building positive relationships with clients, families, carers and key stakeholders, and working with clinicians across multiple disciplines
