Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT seeks a dedicated Leisure and Lifestyle coordinator to provide care and companionship to residents in Lilyfield, delivering tailored activities that meet each resident’s needs and interests.

You will lead staff in planning the program, ensure active participation, document evaluations, and create activities that improve quality of life. A Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is required, with experience in aged or community care preferred.

Qualifications

Previous experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle program in aged care preferred.
Be resilient and resourceful, living the values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness.
Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications required.

Responsibilities

Lead, guide and direct staff in planning the activity program, liaising with residents and carers.
Ensure residents can participate in activities of interest and achieve desired outcomes.
Confirm activity program details with the Manager, including residents, timetable and resources.
Complete evaluations, participation sheets and other paperwork reflecting continuous improvement.
Develop activities that build on past interests and current capabilities to enhance quality of life.
