Job summary

Truck Centre WA Pty Ltd is seeking an Aftersales Business Consultant to be the face of our Spearwood dealership across the metro area. This role is about visiting customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored aftersales solutions that boost workshop and parts sales.

You will collaborate with truck sales, parts and service teams to deliver outstanding support through the complete customer journey, driving retention and growth in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build relationships and identify opportunities.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to offer value-based solutions.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to work independently in a mobile role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer management software.

Responsibilities

• Drive retention and acquisition by engaging customers through site visits and relationship management.
• Promote and sell contract maintenance programs and aftersales services.
• Act as a link between sales, parts and service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor customer activity and schedules to maintain high workshop utilisation and growth.
• Maintain accurate records and report trends to leadership.
• Represent the brands with professionalism during every visit.

About The Role

This is not your typical desk job. As an Aftersales Business Consultant, you’ll spend most of your time on the road, connecting with new and existing customers, understanding their business needs, and offering tailored aftersales solutions that drive workshop and parts sales. You'll work in close partnership with our truck sales team, parts department, and service teams to deliver exceptional support throughout the customer journey.

• Drive retention and acquisition by actively engaging new and existing customers through site visits and ongoing relationship management.
• Promote and sell contract maintenance programs and aftersales services that add value and reduce downtime for our customers.
• Act as a key link between new truck sales, parts, and service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor customer activity, service schedules, and site requirements to maintain high workshop utilization and identify business growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records using our systems and report customer feedback and trends to the leadership team.
• Represent our brands with professionalism, energy, and integrity on every visit.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and follow through with solutions that make an impact.
• A strong understanding of the truck, transport, or heavy equipment industry (parts or service knowledge highly desirable).
• Commercial acumen with the ability to offer value-based solutions to businesses.
• A current driver’s licence and the ability to work independently in a mobile role.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and customer management software, with strong time management and self-motivation.
