Job summary

Griffiths Racing in Cranbourne is seeking afternoon ground staff for 1:30pm to around 4pm shifts. The role involves handling and walking horses, rugging, mucking out, feeding, and general barn maintenance. You’ll also take on any other reasonable tasks as directed.

This position suits someone with horse handling experience, preferably racing stable exposure, but it is not essential. No accommodation, visa sponsorship, or 88-day eligibility is available.

Qualifications

• Experience handling horses is preferred, racing stable experience is a bonus.
• Candidates with basic horse-care skills and reliability are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Handle horses and walk them as part of daily routines.
• Rug and care for horses, including feeding and mucking out.
• Maintain the barn and complete general tidying.
• Undertake other reasonable tasks as directed.
