Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for an established food manufacturer in Chullora, NSW. Join the onsite maintenance team on a permanent afternoon shift, handling across processing and packaging equipment, electrical controls, and automated production systems.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs, and contribute to equipment reliability while collaborating with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe, continuous

Qualifications

• Current NSW electrical licence.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding skills across machinery and electrical controls.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and automation.
• Food, FMCG or packaging experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and diagnose electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, control systems and production equipment.
• Identify recurring faults and help improve equipment reliability.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to keep operations running safely.
