Qualifications

• Hold (or be working towards) Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Mandatory Child Protection (Gecko) Course 1 & 2; Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is required.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework and National Law/Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, nurturing care for children across before school, after school, and vacation care.
• Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all.
• Plan and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with team members and families.
• Collaborate with the team to support the best outcomes for children.
• Participate in excursions during vacation care.
