Job summary

Code Camp Ltd is hiring facilitators/educators for after-school and holiday tech programs in the Woollahra area. The role suits uni students studying Education, Software Engineering, or related fields and involves leading a class of 5–12 year olds with a hands-on, kid-friendly lesson plan.

We provide paid training and ongoing online support. You’ll need a Working With Children Check and fluent English, plus reliable, enthusiastic communication in front of groups.

Qualifications

• Valid Employee Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain immediately)
• Prior experience with or around young kids is essential as role involves leading a class
• Tech-savvy with an interest in science, tech and creativity
• Mature outlook, common sense and ability to supervise children
• Strong customer service when speaking to school staff or parents
• Fluent conversational English

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fun, easy-to-follow lesson plan to a small class of primary-aged children
• Attend paid training and receive ongoing support from an online tech-support team
• Provide own laptop and HDMI adapter for personal use
