Job summary

Camp Australia in Penrith is seeking Outside School Hours Care Educators to support before and after school programs and holiday care. You will deliver engaging, safe activities, help children grow, learn, and build lasting memories within a supportive school community.

Ideal candidates bring a childcare Diploma or are studying, hold a Working with Children Check, National Safety Training, and current First Aid/CPR certificates.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or studying a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check / Blue Card / Ochre Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability between 6:30 am-9:00 am & 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program for primary-aged children.
• Take part in daily activities for before/after school and holiday care.
• Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks and beverages.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
