Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a highly motivated Aerospace Structural Engineer to support the ASI program for F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler. Based at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD, you will work within the Sustainment Operation Engineering team to ensure continued airworthiness and safe operations across the fleet.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Mechanical and 3+ years in aircraft structural integrity, with a proactive mindset and strong

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical from a nationally accredited program.
  • 3+ years experience in aircraft structural integrity (ASI) or aircraft repairs including structures design and analysis, or engineering support to in-service aircraft operations.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable to the ASI Program Manager in supporting the ASI Program through phases of the aircraft life cycle and the ASI master plan.
  • Monitor the Aircraft structural fatigue life to ensure airworthiness and reliability throughout the life of the aircraft.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

As a member of our Sustainment Operation Engineering team, you will support the Aircraft Structural Integrity (ASI) program which is essential in ensuring continuing airworthiness of the aircrafts.
