Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT in Alice Springs is seeking a Flight Nurse to join our aeromedical team. You will provide primary response, intensive care and trauma nursing in remote SA & NT locations, with opportunities across full-time and part-time roles.

Reporting to the Flight Nurse Manager, you will work in a challenging, collaborative environment and contribute to high-quality patient care in a unique, rural setting. Relocation and remote housing allowances are available.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Post-graduate qualification in emergency/critical care nursing with at least 3 years’ clinical experience.
• Advanced life support certification with accredited provider.
• Pediatric life support certification with accredited training.

Responsibilities

• Provide aeromedical primary response, intensive care, trauma and midwifery services as part of a high-performance team.
• Deliver outstanding patient care in a dynamic remote environment where two days are never the same.

Education
