Job summary

Parks Victoria is seeking an experienced operational professional to support and lead statewide aerial land management programs. You will coordinate people, aircraft, contractors and resources, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and compliance with aviation and governance requirements.

Reporting to the Fire, Emergency and Aerial Land Management Coordinator, you will help plan, manage risk and deliver field operations across Victoria, including travel, remote work and multi-day arrangements.

Qualifications

  • Accreditation is highly desirable and beneficial.
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence required or highly desirable.
  • Experience in aerial operations, emergency management or conservation.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multi-agency programs and resources.
  • Strong planning, project management and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver aerial land management and aerial shooting operations within safety and governance frameworks.
  • Lead planning, risk management, resource allocation and field delivery activities.
  • Coordinate personnel, aircraft, contractors, equipment and resources.
  • Provide expert advice to support aerial shooting and conservation programs.
  • Monitor progress, budgets and resource use to achieve outcomes.
  • Develop procedures, reports and advisory tools for program delivery.
  • Build relationships with regional teams, agencies and aviation providers.
