Job description

CMS Therapy Group is looking for a dynamic, caring, and self-motivated licensed APRN to bring their talent and skill set to our growing private practice in Fairfield County. This is a flexible, part-time (5 - 10 hrs/wk) position that offers W2 commission-based compensation.

The ideal applicant will have 5+ years of clinical experience working in the mental/behavioral health field, in an outpatient setting with children, adolescents, and adults. This person would be responsible for developing therapeutic rapport, completing diagnostic assessments and patient care planning, prescribing, working collaboratively with the practice's therapists and other community providers, and completing all necessary clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete diagnostic mental health assessment of patients
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe psychotropic medications
• Provide psychiatric counseling and education to patients and/or their families
• Collaborate with internal and external providers on cases as needed
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records in the EHR system

Qualifications

• Master\'s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
• Unrestricted APRN license in CT
• National Board Certification
• CT Controlled Substance license
• 5 + years of experience working in an outpatient mental health / behavioral health setting

Compensation: $100 - $170 hourly
