Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Manager of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering to lead a high-performing team of mechanical, industrial, and electronics engineers at our Sydney integration center. You will drive Lean initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and coordinate with global teams, including support to Barcelona, in a matrixed structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or production engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of proven experience in an engineering division with a recent supervisory role leading a team of engineers.
• Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence experience with a passion for crafting efficiencies and improving systems and automation.
• Excellent social skills, with the ability to mentor and lead staff.
• Strong financial and commercial manufacturing competence.
• Hands-on technical problem solver by nature.
• Related studies in Industrial Engineering or a similar field are highly regarded.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment in collaboration with a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing engineering team.Establish and sustain manufacturing metrics to drive safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing operations, design and development to ensure alignment with strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of business systems and processes.
• Support NPI projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate the plant maintenance program to meet requirements.
• Promote a safety culture and engage in safety initiatives.
• Address quality and development issues via Engineering Change Requests.
• Manage new product activities to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Provide engineering support remotely to the Barcelona site.
