Job summary

Echuca Regional Health invites applications for an Advanced Trainee in General and Acute Care Medicine or Senior Medical Registrar 2027. The role runs from February 2027 for 12 months, with the Medical Ward supporting 24 general and 6 HDU beds and a broad range of services.

Be part of a growing sub-regional health service in Echuca. Ideal candidates are MBBS qualified, enrolled in RACP/ACRM, and experienced in general medicine with HDU/AMU exposure.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree enabling registration with AHPRA.
• Enrolled in RACP or ACRRM.
• Experience in general medicine, ideally HDU/AMU services.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in General Medicine with rotation across units.
• Collaborate with General Physicians, Rural Generalists and junior doctors.
• Develop clinical leadership and contribute to the medical team.
