Job summary

Assign is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist clients under the NDIS framework in their homes and communities. You will help with daily living, promote independence, and support participation in social activities in Huntingdale and surrounding areas.

The role is permanent part-time with flexible availability, offering person-centred care and collaboration with families and care teams.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory before appointment.
• WA Working with Children Check is required where applicable.
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
• Proof of working rights (passport/visa) must be provided.
• Experience caring for clients with dementia and/or epilepsy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living activities in home and community settings.
• Assist clients to attend social outings, appointments and errands.
• Provide light domestic assistance and meal preparation as needed.
• Administer medications in line with care plans and procedures.
• Liaise with families, carers and supervisors as required.
