Job summary

Corporate Protection Australia is seeking Advanced Care Paramedics to join our growing team across resources-sector operations in Queensland and New South Wales. You will deliver advanced patient care, emergency response and clinical decision-making in remote and industrial environments.

We offer both full-time and casual opportunities, with rosters including 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off. Travel may be FIFO or DIDO; salary packages are up to around $151,000 per annum, inclusive base and

Qualifications

• Advanced Care Paramedic qualifications and registration in relevant jurisdiction.
• Bachelor of Paramedic Science or RN (or equivalent) with current registration (AHPRA).
• Driver's license and ability to obtain site credentials as required.
• Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screen completed.
• Immunisations for Hepatitis A & B and tetanus up to date or obtainable within 3 months of start.
• ALS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of commencement.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Response: advanced assessment, treatment and stabilisation of medical emergencies and injuries.
• Clinical Care: manage work and non-work-related presentations per CPAHM guidelines.
• Patient Escalation: coordinate QAS response and medical consultation for evacuation when needed.
• Clinical Governance: accurate documentation and compliance with clinical and legislative requirements.
• Clinic Readiness: maintain medications, equipment and emergency response capability.
• Injury Management: support early intervention and return-to-work processes.
• Health & Safety Support: provide clinical advice to site HSE teams and management.
• Emergency Preparedness: participate in drills and site readiness activities.
• Health Promotion: provide education on health and wellbeing.
• Stakeholder Liaison: collaborate with site personnel, emergency teams and external providers.

We are currently seeking qualified paramedics to join our growing team as an Advanced Care Paramedics across our resources-sector operations. Working in dynamic remote and industrial environments, you'll deliver exceptional patient care, emergency response, and clinical decision-making to support the safety and wellbeing of on-site personnel.

Available Rosters:7 on / 7 off and 14 on / 14 off (Roster is dependent on client location)
Employment Type:Multiple Full Time & Casual Opportunities available throughout Queensland & New South Wales
Travel Type:FIFO or DIDO depending on project in QLD and New South Wales
Salary Package:Up to circa $151,000.00 Per Annum (Inclusive Base + Super)

Key Responsibilities:

Emergency Response – Provide advanced assessment, treatment and stabilisation of medical emergencies and injuries.

Clinical Care – Manage work and non-work-related presentations within CPAHM clinical guidelines and scope of practice.

Patient Escalation – Coordinate QAS response, medical consultation and patient evacuation when required.

Clinical Governance – Maintain accurate documentation and comply with CPAHM clinical, medication and legislative requirements.

Clinic Readiness – Maintain medications, equipment, consumables and emergency response capability.

Injury Management – Support early intervention, injury assessment and return-to-work processes.

Health & Safety Support – Provide clinical advice to site HSE teams and management when required.

Emergency Preparedness – Participate in emergency response drills, exercises and site readiness activities.

Health Promotion – Provide education and advice on health, wellbeing and injury prevention.

Stakeholder Liaison – Work collaboratively with site personnel, emergency response teams, QAS and external health providers.

Conduct Drug and Alcohol testing services in accordance with the clients Safety Management System.

Adhere to company policies, clinical protocols, and procedures at all times.

Advanced Care Paramedic Requirements:

Bachelor of Paramedic Science or Registered Nurse (or equivalent)

Current registration with AHPRA

Current Manual Driver’s Licence

HLTPAT005 or HLTPAT010 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing

Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Screen

Successful completion of CPA H&M clinical scenario assessment – This is an internal assessment completed as part of the recruitment process

Immunization for Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus - must currently hold, or be able to obtain with 3 months of commencement

Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate - must currently hold, or be able to obtain with 3 months of commencement
