Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to support young people and families facing drug and alcohol concerns within the ACACIA multidisciplinary team. This permanent role offers either full-time or part-time (job share) hours and a 38-hour week with a generous remuneration package.

You will provide specialist assessments and evidence-based interventions, collaborating across services to deliver trauma-informed, recovery-focused care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as Clinical Psychologist with postgraduate Masters in Clinical Psychology.
• Experience in psychosocial assessments, counselling, therapeutic interventions, complex casework, advocacy and discharge planning.
• Strong written/verbal communication, computer literacy, time management, prioritisation, negotiation and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessments, evidence-based psychological interventions and case management within a multidisciplinary team.
• Work collaboratively with young people, families and services to deliver person-centered, trauma-informed and recovery-focused care.
