Victoria Police is currently advertising an Administrative/Property Officer role within Eastern Region, Division 4 with initial duties at Wangaratta Uniform. This role is highly challenging, and we are seeking a motivated, energetic and self-driven person to join our team. The successful applicant's primary role will be to provide a high level of administrative/property support to frontline policing across the Division.As part of the role, the selected applicant may be required to perform some of their duties in a secure or restricted environment.Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.Your duties will include:Undertaking a range of functions around the receipt, management and disposal of lost or seized items in accordance with police policy and relevant legislation.Accurate data entry and record management within relevant police systems and legislative retention periods, using hard copy and electronically based systems.Provide a high level of accuracy in administrative support functions as required to support operational policing outcomes, including banking, filing & general office duties.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding police administration matters.About You:The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative services in a confidential environment.Computer skills and experience in Microsoft 365 are essential.Ability to interpret & apply legislation, policy & procedures.Effective time management skills to be able to prioritise and complete all tasks within specified timeframes, autonomously or as part of an experienced team.Strong written and verbal communication skills are valued.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Further Information:One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.This position is located at Wangaratta police complex, 21- 33 Handley Street, Wangaratta, however, you may be required to work at other locations within the Division.Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.We expect our people to foster a safe and inclusive environment where their behaviour and attitude reflects, builds upon and promotes a positive and collaborative workplace that respects the culture and values of Victoria Police.Your application must include:ResumeCompleted application form - the word document (2.
