Join the Clinical Support Unit and play a vital role in supporting safe, high-quality patient care. As an Administrative Officer - Medical Records, you will help manage and maintain confidential patient information, ensuring medical records are accessible, accurate and available when they are needed most.

About the role

As an Administrative Officer - Medical Records, you will be an important member of the Clinical Support Unit, supporting the efficient management of patient information across the hospital.

• Process, track and manage patient medical records to ensure timely access to information that supports patient care.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information while providing records support across wards, clinics and hospital departments.
• Provide administrative, reception and information release support, including the use of Queensland Health systems and software.

Requirements

• Appointee will be required to work day shifts with varied start times (between 7am, 730am and 8am) as scheduled in the roster provided.
• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
• Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
• This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
• A period of probation may apply.
