Administrative Assistant - Respiratory and Sleep Medicine

  • Part Time Ongoing Position
  • 64 hours per fortnight
  • End to end administrative management of outpatient referrals

We are a team committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services to a diverse population of patients. The Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Department administrative team enjoys a collaborative working environment where staff enjoy a great place to work and where the department meets patient expectations as a great place to receive care.

Your New Role

The Respiratory and Sleep Medicine department is seeking an Administrative Assistant. Reporting to the Administrative Team Leader, the Administrative Assistant is a key member of the customer service team and is responsible for the end-to-end administrative management of the patient\u2019s outpatient episode of care, including but not limited to

  • Referral management
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Waitlist management and auditing
  • Phone, online and health hub enquiries
  • Front desk reception duties

  • You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style
  • You like to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
