NOTE: This is a Parental Leave cover position, with a
9-month fixed-term contract arrangement.
Reporting to the Senior Animal Care Manager and working collaboratively as part of the broader Veterinary Services and Animal Welfare (VSAW) Team, the VSAW Administration Assistant will provide a range of high quality administrative and support services to contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the VSAW Department, including the Queensland Off-The-Track (QOTT) Program initiatives and greyhound welfare schemes.
The VSAW Administration Assistant plays an important role in the organisation’s broader operational and strategic objectives of improving welfare outcomes for racing animals in Queensland and ensuring the sustainability of the thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing industries.
