Remuneration: $33.46 - $35.54 + 12% Super + Salary Packaging
Hours Per Week: 24
Location: John Hunter Hospital | Awabakal Land

About The Role

As an Administration Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of both dialysis units by providing high-quality administrative support to staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact — greeting patients, answering phones, and managing appointments.
  • Prepare clinics, organise patient folders, and maintain orientation packs.
  • Manage daily administrative functions, including rosters, admission reports, stock ordering, and general office duties.
  • Provide direct support to the dialysis education team, Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNCs), Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs), Technical Services, and Home Dialysis Services.
  • Assist with Work Health & Safety (WHS) inspections, Chemalert stocktakes, and preparing multi-disciplinary team (MDT) patient lists.
  • Works days are - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Every 2nd Tuesday will be at our Raymond Terrace Dialysis
