ACT Health in Canberra seeks an Administration Officer for the Walk-in Centres. You will be the first point of contact, greet consumers, determine needs, and provide patient-centred administrative support within a tertiary hospital environment.

Salary: $70,236 - $84,284 (Plus 12.5% Super)

As an Administration Officer at the Walk-in Centres, you will provide patient-centred support to consumers accessing the service. As the first point of contact, you will greet consumers, consult with them to establish their needs, and demonstrate respect, sensitivity and confidentiality in every interaction.
In this role, you will perform a range of administrative functions that contribute to the delivery of safe, client-focused patient care. You will examine and direct incoming correspondence and telephone enquiries, enter and update client information within databases, and maintain accurate records in line with organisational requirements. You will also support and promote the CHS values of Reliable, Progressive, Respectful and Kind, recognising the important role these values play in the holistic operation of the Walk-in Centre.
To be successful in this position, you will possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to contributing to a positive workplace culture. You will work effectively within a team and have a strong understanding of the importance of sensitivity, professionalism and confidentiality.

Please note:
The successful applicant will need the ability to work across all ACT Walk-in Centres.
This is a part-time shift working role requiring the ability to work a rotating roster with varying start/finish times between 7.30am and 22:30pm as well as weekends and public holidays to meet the operational requirements of the centre.
