MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter, Cairns, seeks an Administration Officer - Reception to join a collaborative team serving parents, students, staff and the wider college community.

The role requires discretion and confidentiality in a busy office and supports the ethos of Catholic Education.

This is a term-time, fixed-term position of 38 hours per week with salary and benefits outlined in the posting.

Responsibilities

• The Administration Officer - Reception is the face of our College, working as part of a collaborative team providing services to parents, students, school staff and the wider MacKillop Catholic College Community.
• This person must have demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in a busy office environment.

Job description

Contract Dates:

25th January 2027 - 21st January 2028

Salary Range:

SOF Level 3 - $34.17 - $35.62 gross per hour + 12.75% superannuation

Employment Type:

Term-Time, Fixed-Term Position (38 hours per week)

MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter

MacKillop Catholic College, a master-planned Prep to Year 12 College located in the growing southern corridor of Cairns, was established in 2016 with Prep-Year 3 classes. The College has developed progressively, adding additional year levels annually, and commenced secondary education in 2020 with Year 7, and the first Year 12 cohort graduating in 2025.
