A leading agricultural market co-operative in Queensland is looking for a part-time Administration Officer. This role involves data entry, invoice reconciliation, and supporting management. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, previous administrative experience, and must have their own reliable transport. Flexibility in work hours is required.
The Brisbane Produce Market is Queensland's only central fruit and vegetable market, and the state's most important centre for the wholesale marketing and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables. It records an annual trade in excess of 700 million kilograms of produce valued at more than $2 billion.
The busy Spring/Summer season is commencing at the Brisbane Markets, with the smell of fresh Mangos and the wait in anticipation for Stone Fruit and Cherries. As a representative of employers within the market, Brismark is searching for a suitably experienced Administration Officer for a secondary wholesaler within the Markets to assist in the delivery of their administration functions.
This is a part-time position, 20 - 30 hours per week, hours to be worked between 8am to 12pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility with start and finish time is required to meet operational requirements.

As a member organisation it actively lobbies on major industry issues such as the Horticulture Code of Conduct. It also offers a Credit Service facility which acts as a clearing house for its Members and associated businesses that operate within the Brisbane Produce Market (BPM) providing a secure, efficient and paperless means of conducting business within the BPM.
