Job summary

Bryan Industries in Mackay, Queensland invites a qualified Boilermaker to join our workshop fabrication and on-site service team. This ad-hoc role covers multiple mine sites with duties including structural and mechanical fabrication, repairs and maintenance, and heavy machinery work.

You must hold a Boilermakers trade qualification, a manual Australian driver’s licence, and coal board medical with Standard 11. Desirable: Telehandler, EWP, Riggers, Franna tickets; 9606 weld certs preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification – Boilermakers.
• Valid Coal Board Medical & Standard 11.
• Manual Australian Drivers Licence.
• Desirable: Telehandler, EWP and Rigging tickets.
• Boilermakers must hold or obtain 9606 weld certifications.
• Working at Heights, Confined Spaces & Gas Test Atmosphere – Required.

Responsibilities

• Structural and mechanical fabrication.
• Repairs and maintenance.
• Heavy machinery repairs.
• Shutdown and project work.
• Support Team with coverage when needed.

Bryan Industries is a locally owned and operated manufacturing business specialising in workshop fabrication, onsite services, equipment overhauls, labour & equipment hire, engineering design & certification, transport frames & preservation, and blast & painting services throughout Queensland.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team.

ADHOC Boilermaker

This role offers a variety of work across multiple mine sites, including:

• Structural and mechanical fabrication
• Repairs and maintenance
• Heavy machinery repairs
• Shutdown and project work
• Support Team with coverage when needed

The successful candidate will have:

• Trade Qualification – Boilermakers
• Australian Drivers Licence - Manual
• Valid Coal Board Medical & Standard 11
• Telehandler , EWP and Riggers – Desirable.
• Franna Tickets Highly Regarded
• Working at Heights, Confined Spaces & Gas Test Atmosphere – Required
• Boilermakers must hold or willing to obtain 9606 weld certifications
