Job summary

Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) in Adelaide is establishing a talent pool for Subject Matter Expert roles within its ICT team that support pathology services. The role translates laboratory workflows into system requirements, shapes and tests solutions, and provides specialist production support for laboratory information systems.

You will document changes, train staff and collaborate with ICT and laboratory teams to enable accurate pathology results across SA.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant pathology or medical laboratory science degree, or equivalent qualification and experience
• Bring extensive laboratory experience and knowledge of laboratory information systems
• Translate clinical workflows into clear system requirements and practical solutions
• Communicate effectively across laboratory and ICT teams, and support testing, training and change

Responsibilities

• Translate workflows into system requirements and practical solutions.
• Shape and test solutions for laboratory information systems.
• Document changes and train staff on new systems.
• Provide specialist advice and production support for LAP systems including Millennium and PathNet.
